Configuration Manager

Location: Maryland
Work Status: Full-Time

Job Description:
Primarily responsible for controlling master baselined software, developing/solving configuration management issues; planning, developing, documenting, and executing configuration management and change control programs; establish product baselines and conduct audits. Additional responsibilities for individual(s) assigned to this category are writing, tracking, and documenting requirements to support agency initiatives.

Job Requirements:
In order to be an acceptable candidate, personnel assigned to this category must, as a minimum, have the following experience:
At least two years experience as a Configuration manager in configuration management, architectural planning, structured requirements analysis, and project management. All required experience must have been obtained within the last three years;
Experience with two or more commercial software products used for configuration management and requirements documentation and tracking, preferably DOORS and Eclipse;
Demonstrated technical writing skills and shall have generated at least two documents or have passed a course in technical writing.
